The Property Maintenance Specialist will ensure all repairs and upkeep are completed efficiently and to the highest standards, providing exceptional service to clients and property owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks to keep properties in optimal condition.
- Handle minor electrical repairs, such as fixing wiring, lighting, and switches.
- Conduct basic plumbing work, including repairing leaks, toilets, sinks, and drains.
- Carry out carpentry projects, such as installing doors, repairing furniture, and building shelving units.
- Address general maintenance needs such as painting, drywall repair, and caulking.
- Repair or replace flooring, tiles, and windows as required.
- Inspect properties to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
- Assemble furniture, equipment, and appliances as necessary.
- Perform basic HVAC maintenance, such as filter replacement and cleaning.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and in proper working condition.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to safely operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or relevant certifications are a plus.
