Job Description:
As a Virtual School Psychologist with VocoVision, you will offer essential psychological services to students in West Virginia from your home office. Your role will involve conducting assessments, providing counseling, and collaborating with educators and parents to support student achievement and well-being. This flexible, contract-based position allows you to make a significant impact on students' lives while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Provide individual and group counseling to address students' emotional and psychological needs.
- Develop and implement intervention plans in coordination with teachers, parents, and school administrators.
- Monitor and track students progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions.
- Recommend appropriate accommodations and modifications based on assessment findings.
- Participate in virtual meetings and contribute to school-wide strategies aimed at improving student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Active West Virginia School Psychologist license (required).
- Experience working in a school or educational setting, with a preference for experience in a virtual environment.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and educators.
- Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
