General Mechanic (Service Technician) - Now Hiring

General Mechanic Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment

  • Disassemble mechanical equipment, identify faulty/worn parts, replace, reassemble, and test

  • Perform mechanic skills including: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics.

  • Working on brakes, log loaders, lift gates and wiring.

  • Repairs: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems

  • Brakes for heavy trucks/equipment, diesel engines, drive train experience.

  • Electrical/Electronic Systems experience for Medium/Heavy Truck

  • Repairing brakes on equipment.

  • Suspension and Steering repair experience

General Mechanic Shift Info

  • Day Shift, 7:00 to 3:30- hours could vary

  • Monday - Friday

General Mechanic Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

  • General Mechanic experience preferred

  • Service Tech experience needed minimum 3 years

  • Able to work in the US

  • Able to stand on concrete and/or platforms for up to a 12 hour shift

  • Basic hydraulics/pneumatics experience

  • Able to read and follow blueprints and electrical diagrams

  • Able to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in power tools and equipment
