Production Sandblaster

We are seeking a skilled Production Sandblaster to join our team in Tumwater, WA. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for sandblasting to remove paint, rust, and other material build-ups from rough surfaces using specialized equipment.

About the Role:

• Sandblast to remove paint, rust, and other material build-ups from rough surfaces
• Set up and operate a blast booth and similar equipment
• Work with team members, shift supervisors, and all necessary personnel to address complications as they arise
• Communicate with fellow team members to learn of any equipment problems or malfunctions and take care of them as they come up

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous experience required; this is not an entry-level position
• MUST have experience doing sandblasting for a minimum of one year in a production environment
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to read measurements
• Well-organized and history of showing initiative
• Knowledge of current OSHA safety rules and regulations
• Familiarity with power tools
• Able to pass a background check
• Able to work in the US
