LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Associate to work for a wonderful company in the Hauppauge, NY area
Office Setting: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date.
Review and prepare daily deposit and chargebacks summary.
Process customer payments, chargebacks, write-offs, and repayments in the ERP system.
Collaborate with the operations team and/or customer AP to identify payment deductions.
Resolve discrepancies between customer payments and invoices.
Process credit memos for customer accounts.
Download and break down customer payments and email to factor bank.
Perform month-end bank reconciliation (1 bank account related to AR).
Upload customer invoices to the portal where needed.
Develop ad-hoc reports related to accounts receivable transactions.
Review delinquent customer accounts and send payment reminders.
Assist the accounting department with other tasks or projects as needed.
Note: The ideal candidate is someone with three to five years of AR experience and an accounting or business degree who is an effective communicator. This role requires mid-level Excel skills for payment reconciliation and ad-hoc AR reports. We are looking for someone who is a team player and eager to learn and grow with the company. Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
