Role: Staff Accountant - $35/HR.
Are you ready to dive into the world of financial accounting with gusto? As our Accountant, you'll be at the heart of it all, utilizing your solid understanding of accounting principles and theory to tackle a variety of tasks. From managing cash receipts to balancing the books, you'll be an integral part of our team. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be up to:

  • Compiling and dissecting financial data for those all-important general ledger entries.
  • Assisting with audits and fulfilling audit requests with finesse.
  • Applying cash like a pro while keeping a keen eye on aged receivables.
  • Preparing bank reconciliations that are as crisp as a new dollar bill.
  • Supporting our Controller during monthly closings and keeping the general ledger shipshape.
  • Delving into ad hoc projects with enthusiasm and expertise.
  • Taking on diverse accounting and auditing assignments like a true financial virtuoso.
  • Reconciling sub-ledgers to ensure everything balances perfectly.
  • Analyzing trial balances and helping to decipher any variances.
  • Managing and maintaining the general ledger like a well-oiled machine.
  • Providing backup to other Finance units whenever they need a helping hand.
  • Assisting with month-end close and reporting processes to keep things running smoothly.
  • Offering support during year-end audits and tackling any financial challenges head-on.
  • Taking on additional financial close tasks as they arise – because you're always up for a challenge

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting – check
  • Minimum of 2 years' accounting experience – you've got it
  • Strong accounting knowledge that's second to none.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks with ease.
  • Discretion and diplomacy when handling confidential matters.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
