Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: 1st and 3rd Shift Production Technician

Job Description

As a Level 2 Mixer, you will receive initial and ongoing training in various processing rooms including 6-pass, 1-pass, Dry Room, and Corn Room. You will be responsible for accurately assembling all ingredients and recording them on the correct production paperwork. Following step-by-step instructions on blending sheets, you will maintain a food safety culture in regards to food defense, quality, and cGMPs for the production and warehousing of products. Consistently and accurately assembling all paperwork, boxes, and sight standards is essential.

Hard Skills
  • Ability to appropriately utilize and calibrate scales
  • Ability to stack boxes for palletizing
  • Read and understand product codes and lot numbers
  • Find proper screens for Swecos and Comils
  • Operate equipment including belts, Swecos, Comils, and metal detectors
  • Perform CCP checks as per SOP
  • Document and remedy non-compliance issues
  • Perform quality checks to ensure product matches sight standards
  • Trained and certified in stand-up forklift operation
Soft Skills
  • Consistently follow sanitization processes to ensure food safety
  • Practice food safety, sanitization, and work safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain GMP general housekeeping practices to ensure a clean and safe workspace

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chaska, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Clean and spacious facility. Exposure to noise, heat, changes in temperature and humidity, and airborne dust particles.
