Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Austin, Rhode Island
Position Type: Contract
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral evaluations
  • Design individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to address specific client needs
  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and provide training on intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor the success of interventions and modify plans as needed
  • Stay informed of best practices and new developments in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Maintain compliance with the ethical guidelines of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Minimum Requirements:
  • Current BCBA certification
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children with behavioral challenges, particularly autism
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
  • Experience in clinical or educational settings is an advantage
