Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: West Greenwich, Rhode Island
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Key Duties:
  • Conduct thorough assessments such as Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to determine the needs of each child
  • Develop and oversee personalized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that address individual goals and challenges
  • Provide ongoing training and guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff
  • Work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency across different environments
  • Analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans
  • Stay up to date with current best practices and advancements in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Ensure all services comply with the ethical standards of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Requirements:
  • BCBA certification is required
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with children with developmental or behavioral difficulties, especially autism
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
  • Experience in clinical or educational settings preferred
