Description:
Responsible for aspects of customer service including answering inquiries via phone and e-mail, processing basic transactions including beneficiary changes, address changes, and contributions, among other items. Also may require research to troubleshoot client and rep problems. Clients may be internal or external with requests of varying degrees of complexity. Will work closely with team members and will partner with members of other teams on various items.
-Retirement and investment services associates. Handle contributions checks that come in
Processing distributions.
-On the phone working with clients and financial advisors
- covering as they have people that will be acting as SME’s
- 16 people on the team
- need to be able to function in a team environment but also heads down processing
- familiar with IRAs
- background in customer service
- willing to do lengthy training but really training as you go
•Processing work, IRA and Roth IRA’s accounts
•They work with clients and financial advisors via phone and email
•Customer service skills are very important
•How many calls per day? The resource will be on the phones for 2 days of the week, answering inbound phone calls
•The processing part of the role will be the other 3 days of the week. This part of the job requires outreach to clients, they will make outbound calls and emails. They will work on contributions or requests and they will need to reach out to the customer and dig deeper.
•This role is slightly heavier on processing side but they still are on the phones and emails too.
•They have a large project going on (confidential) they are looking for people that can fill in gaps during that project.
