We are in search of a Payroll Specialist for a client of ours in the Tech industry based in Bellevue, Washington. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be tasked with managing payroll for roughly 350 of employees, administering benefits, and taking on additional HR duties as needed. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity and will require adeptness in ADP Workforce Now and other payroll and benefits administration functions.


Responsibilities:


• Administer payroll for a significant number of employees on a biweekly, multi-state basis.

• Manage benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and policies.

• Take on additional HR-related tasks as required to support the smooth running of the department.

• Continually update and maintain employee records to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll and benefits administration tasks.

• Ensure all payroll and HR processes are documented correctly and updated as needed.

• Respond and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor employee accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Utilize Excel for reporting and data analysis related to payroll and benefits.

• Possess proficiency in ADP Workforce Now.
• Have experience in 401k - RRSP Administration.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Benefit Functions.
• Have experience in handling Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees.
• Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
• Show ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Display strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Show evidence of being a team player with the ability to work independently.
• Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Show evidence of being able to meet tight deadlines.
• Have a strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
