Position Overview:
As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with our finance team to support various accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoicing, expense reporting, and reconciliations.
Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Assist in month-end closing processes and prepare financial statements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
Support annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounting or a similar role (2+ years preferred).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Advanced Excel formulas ( VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc )
