We are seeking a seasoned, dynamic, and enthusiastic Tax Consultant to join our team. This role is centered on advising our clients in the Energy industry, particularly those focusing on Green Energy initiatives and ITC/PTC tax monetization strategies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a robust knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, and filings. They will leverage their expertise to provide innovative tax solutions, ensuring our clients' financial success and sustainability while minimizing their tax liability. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in tax consultancy, preferably within the Energy sector.

We are seeking a dynamic and highly knowledgeable Tax Consultant with a focus on the Energy Industry. This role is perfect for an individual with a deep understanding of tax regulations and incentives in the energy sector, particularly in the area of Green Energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients in the energy industry on various tax-related matters. This includes understanding and applying relevant tax incentives such as the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and the Production Tax Credit (PTC). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth and sustainability of the energy industry while working in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert tax consulting services to clients in the energy industry, with a focus on Green Energy.
  • Interpret and apply tax regulations and incentives such as the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and the Production Tax Credit (PTC).
  • Conduct comprehensive tax research and analysis to ensure clients are fully utilizing available tax incentives and credits.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns and reports for clients in the energy industry.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their tax needs are met and exceeded.
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations that could impact clients and provide proactive advice and solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent and integrated approach to client service.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in tax consulting, with a specific focus on the energy industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and incentives in the energy sector, particularly the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and the Production Tax Credit (PTC).
  • Proven experience in Green Energy consulting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and development in tax consulting and the energy industry.
