We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our real estate management team. As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our property portfolio, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting, and contributing to the overall financial success of our properties. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in real estate accounting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate accounting or property management accounting.
- Solid knowledge of real estate accounting principles, lease accounting, and CAM reconciliations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, able to work collaboratively with property managers, tenants, and other team members.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of property management software and ERP systems is a plus.
