Senior Human Resources Generalist

In this role, the Senior Human Resources Generalist (Nonprofit) will oversee all aspects of HR operations specifically focusing on employee benefits, compliance, and payroll coordination. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, this candidate will be a liaison between the organization and their various member organization to provide seamless HR services that are compliant with federal, state, and local laws.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide comprehensive HR support to employees, including policy guidance and process management.
- Oversee employee benefits programs, partner with PEOs to ensure compliance, and manage open enrollment.
- Collaborate with PEOs for accurate and timely payroll processing, conduct audits, and prepare required reports.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations, develop HR policies, and prepare compliance reports.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, leveraging data-driven insights.
- Manage and maintain the HR information system, ensuring data accuracy and efficient operations.
- Foster positive employee relations, address employee concerns and contribute to a positive work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Multiple years of progressive HR experience with a focus on employee benefits and payroll preferably with nonprofit organizations.
- Success managing multi-state HR operations.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local HR Compliance as well as employment laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, payroll software, as well as HRIS systems
- Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work with the organization and various PEOs.
- Desire to work on a mission-driven team, collaborating effectively across multiple states and time zones
- Bachelorâ?s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field is preferred
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This career opportunity provides a starting hourly pay of $44.00 to $48.00 DOE with room for further career growth over time, plus medical, dental, vision, and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week.
