Job DescriptionJob Description

The Director of Clinical Services will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality, evidence-based autism therapeutic and educational services. This role involves ensuring that all services align with evidence-based practices for autism and meet the unique needs of clients, families, and staff.

This position is also responsible for collaborating with and training staff at a Charter School housed on campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Oversight: Manage daily operations and budgets for therapeutic and educational services, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

  • Collaboration and Training: Work closely with staff at the Learning Academy, a Charter School, to provide training and support.

  • Program Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate therapeutic interventions, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Grant Writing and Research: Identify funding needs and participate in the grant writing process to secure necessary resources.

  • Campus Collaborations: Conduct observations, provide feedback, and foster relationships with staff at the Learning Academy and the organization.

  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and mentor team members to create a positive and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in a relevant field (e.g., speech-language pathology, psychology).

  • Minimum of 7 years in autism services, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

  • Expertise in managing multiple programs and a strong background in grant writing.

  • Proven experience with diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds.

  • Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dual certification as a speech-language pathologist and board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA/BCBA-D), or a PsyD/PhD in clinical psychology with BCBA/BCBA-D certification.

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese.

Work Environment:

This position is based on campus and in community-based locations. Flexibility is required, including potential evening and weekend hours. Comfortable business casual attire is expected.
