Litigation Paralegal
Our client, a leading Rocky Mountain Law firm in Denver, is looking for a 5 plus years experienced litigation paralegal to support their commercial litigation practice. The Litigation Paralegal will support the attorneys by investigating facts, preparing legal documents, and managing and organizing case documents in all stages of commercial litigation. The Litigation paralegal will have knowledge of legal terminology and legal document formats; ability to create Table of Contents and Table of Authorities; demonstrated knowledge of Bluebooking and ability to cite check. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for drafting, managing, and filing pleadings and other filings with State and Federal courts and other applicable agencies. This position would be creating, composing, and editing written material such as transaction documents, correspondence and/or legal documentation for attorney review. The Litigation Paralegal will be assisting with exhibit preparation an organization for depositions and trials. Trial and case management experience would be required for this position. • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal role• Proficiency in using Aderant and Adobe Acrobat software
• Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
• Experience in using Case Management Software and CompuLaw
• Ability to handle Billing Functions efficiently
• Experience in Briefing and Calendar Management
• Proficiency in Claim Administration
• Excellent Communication skills
• Experience in Civil Litigation
• Prior experience as a Litigation Paralegal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field preferred
• Certification from an ABA-approved Paralegal program is an advantage
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong research and report-generating skills
• Experience in drafting legal documents and correspondence
• Familiarity with legal terminology and principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
