Estimator (Construction)

LHH is seeking a Construction Estimator for a dynamic and growing architecture and construction firm. As a Professional Estimator, you’ll be essential in helping our client plan and deliver projects on time and within budget. You’ll work closely with the project managers, architects, and clients to ensure our estimates align with project needs, helping bring exceptional designs to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Identify labor, material, and time requirements for each project.
- Analyze and compute costs, resolving discrepancies through thorough research.
- Present clear, organized estimates with numerical and descriptive information.
- Maintain and update a cost database to ensure efficiency in future projects.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements by attending workshops and reviewing publications.
- Contribute to project success and team goals as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel and word processing tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Familiarity with CAD software is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction or architectural estimation.
This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the hourly pay range is estimated to be $65000 - $95,000, and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401k +match and PTO.
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
