Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at a popular casual dining establishment in Wayne, NJ. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and driven to deliver exceptional customer experiences. As Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in managing staff, ensuring efficient service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll work closely with the management team to achieve sales targets, uphold quality standards, and foster a positive team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Hire, train, and manage team members, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, placing orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and welcoming restaurant.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism to enhance guest experience.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain food quality, presentation, and timing standards.
  • Track financial metrics, including labor costs, food costs, and revenue, to meet profitability goals.
  • Support marketing and promotional efforts to drive traffic and sales.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-volume, casual dining environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing staff and addressing guest needs.
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic financial reporting.
