Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in search of a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in the retail industry, based in Weymouth, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be tasked with managing reorder points, researching historical sales data, differentiating inventory, and handling purchase orders in NetSuite. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Handle reorder points to ensure optimal stock levels
• Conduct research on historical sales data for informed decision making on current and future sales
• Differentiate inventory to effectively manage stock
• Assemble purchase orders or review PO's in NetSuite for accuracy and completeness
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Perform purchasing activities in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Track inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and avoid excess or shortage
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations in the retail environment.• Applicant must possess proficiency in NetSuite
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in purchasing activities is necessary
• Familiarity with retail industry is preferred
• Must have experience in inventory tracking
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to analyze market and delivery systems
• Understanding of supply chain procedures
• Solid organizational and time-management skills
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant field is preferred
