Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update financial schedules, including Lot Purchase and Land Development Budget schedules • Assist in planning for financial needs such as Lot and Interim Financing • Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports on various scenarios concerning current and future land opportunities • Prepare and update financial statements including income statements and balance sheets for each entity • Review profit margins and overhead expenses to identify errors or opportunities for improvement • Assist with routine financial reporting and ensure compatibility of profit projections and business plans • Prepare cash flow and financial projections • Demonstrate initiative in assisting in the completion of other department or company objectives • Strive for continual improvement in personal and technical skills • Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger, and journal entries • Assist with month-end close processes and use various software including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations • Ability to manage and maintain the General Ledger • Proficiency in creating and maintaining Journal Entries • Experience in handling Month End Close activities • Proficiency in using NetSuite for financial functions • Experience in using Oracle for accounting purposes • Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management • Experience in using SAP for financial operations and reporting • Excellent communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices • Familiarity with financial reporting • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
