Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Reimbursement Advocate to join our team at Private Label Staff. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring medical claims are submitted timely and paid accurately by Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance payers. This includes working with customers, payors, and internal stakeholders to resolve rejections and denials, obtaining necessary documentation, and providing exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect payments for outstanding open accounts receivable balances
  • Work with payors to ensure medical claims are processed in a timely manner and paid accurately
  • Meet/exceed daily/weekly production & quality KPI standards
  • Update billing systems with patient demographics, payer information, and notated appropriately
  • Analyze payer claim rejections & denials to determine root cause and prevent future rejections & denials
  • Gather, prepare, and submit required information/documentation to appeal claim denials
  • Use appropriate write off reason code(s) for writing off balances deemed uncollectable

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; some college and/or medical billing certificate preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Commercial Insurance; 2+ years in oxygen or HME billing preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office, Oracle, Brightree, Salesforce, and New Voice Media highly preferred

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and experience.
