Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our client’s team in the Eastgate area. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic office environment and enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors and callers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Management:

    • Greet visitors warmly and direct them to the appropriate person or department.

    • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a professional manner.

    • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.

  • Administrative Support:

    • Perform general clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.

    • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing packages.

    • Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings, and maintaining office calendars.

  • Customer Interaction:

    • Respond to inquiries from clients, customers, and employees, providing accurate information and assistance.

    • Ensure that visitors sign in and out and adhere to any security protocols.

    • Support various departments with administrative tasks as needed.

  • Office Coordination:

    • Monitor office supplies and place orders to ensure that the front desk and office areas are well-stocked.

    • Assist in coordinating office events, meetings, and other activities.

    • Provide support to the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in office administration is a plus.

  • Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk agent, or in a similar administrative role is required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

  • Professional appearance and a positive, welcoming demeanor.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly wage ($16.00 to $17.00 per hour).

  • Regular working hours, Monday to Friday.
