You've got what it takes to be an Optician at HSO if you:
  • Have an Ohio Optician Dispensing License (required)
  • Have 2 to 3 years' optical dispensing experience (required)
A day in the life of an Optician at HSO:
  • Travels to necessary schools to dispense eye wear.
  • Understands how to communicate fitting and dispensing process for patient comprehension.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and disinfection of frames, equipment and testing tools.
  • Participates in school functions to promote the vision center
  • Understands how to communicate fitting and dispensing process for patient comprehension.
  • Works well with children and takes initiative to explain frame styling and dispensing process.
