Description:

This person will be testing and troubleshooting test equipment down to the component level. They must be able to use a schematic to diagnose what is wrong with a unit and conduct the appropriate repair.

Shift

M-F 7am - 4:30pm

Duties:

- Inspect, test and troubleshoot circuit boards built by outside assembly vendor at component level.

- Perform final test and calibration on products prior to shipping.

- Perform warranty repair and/or calibration on returned instruments.

- Other manufacturing tasks consistent with Test Technician II training and experience.

- Use test equipment to perform circuit analysis and troubleshooting; includes DMM, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, and signal generators.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- 3+ years' experience inspecting and testing circuit boards.

- 3+ years' experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies and instruments.

- Previous education or technical training in electronics preferred (ideally from an Electronics program at community college or trade school)

- Soldering skills

- Ability to read schematics
