Job Description

This role supports the manufacturing of electronic components in a lean manufacturing, high-compliance environment. The position requires the ability to use a microscope, inspect small components, and perform various assembly tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Using a torque screwdriver to fasten components into place.
  • Using an arbor press to press pins into place on an assembly.
  • Working under a microscope to place and adjust small components.
  • Using tweezers to pick up, place, and manipulate small components.
  • Performing work in a laminar flow hood.
  • Possible operation of a basic test system to gather pass/fail information from assemblies.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to use a microscope and inspect small electronic components.
  • Basic computer skills: Ability to read and write English, use email, read machine monitor, and understand basic commands and functions of the machine.
  • Proven attendance and reliability through good work history or references.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Machine operation or cleanroom experience is a plus.
  • ITAR Compliant documentation.

Work Environment

This is an electronics manufacturing facility that includes both cleanroom and non-cleanroom areas. The work involves handling small components in an ESD-sensitive and ITAR-compliant environment. The swing shift hours are Monday - Thursday, 7pm - 5:30am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, Oregon.
