We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic 2nd Shift (3 pm-11:30 pm) to join our team in Watertown, WI You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery.

*10% shift differential for second on top of base*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and diagnose machinery malfunctions; repair or replace defective equipment as necessary.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery, cranes, forklifts, and other equipment.
  • Test and repair production equipment and machinery, and report any issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Assemble and install equipment using hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as welders, hoists, drills, and wrenches.
  • Utilize knowledge of milling machines, brake presses, drill presses, and general machine shop equipment.
  • Repair machinery such as lathes, mills, drill presses, and other tools as required.
  • Maintain safety standards and address environmental issues.
  • Additional duties may include janitorial tasks, plumbing, pipefitting, painting, and carpentry.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required; Associate's degree from a Technical College preferred.
  • Apprenticeship or Journeyman experience is a plus.
  • 3-5+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and components.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a dedication to safety.
