Aerotek is looking to hire several Industrial Maintenance Technicians to work for a Large Automotive Manufacturing company located in the Nashville, Illinois area. The pay is up to $37 an hour with overtime opportunities, averaging 60 hours work week. Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pay: $36 - $37 an hour

Location: Nashville, Illinois

Shift: 12 hour shifts for the 2nd shift | 8 hour shift for the 3rd shift

DESCRIPTION:

*Daily preventative maintenance along with troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairs of various types of packaging equipment, production equipment including pumps, gearboxes, motors etc.

*Make adjustments and repairs to machines to maintain operating efficiency and reliability

*Install bearings, seals, belts, chains and other parts/components of automated packaging equipment

*Pneumatics and hydraulics

*Perform machinery lubrication; manual milling, lathe, band saw and presses

*Installs and repairs reading blueprints and schematic

REQUIREMENTS

•Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience or currently enrolled in a mechanical and technical program

•Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment and machinery

•Understanding of industrial Equipment, Basic Electricity, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Hand Tools & Power Tools to troubleshoot and maintain equipment

•Must be able to Identify and install bearings, seals, belts, chains, and other parts/components of automated packaging equipment

•Experience with shop equipment (mills, lathes, band saws, presses, etc.) is a plus

•Performs preventive/corrective maintenance and investigates problems with production equipment including pumps, gear boxes, etc., following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications

•Must be able to read and interpret Schematics

DEGREE:

Must have an Associates degree or higher on a related field.
