Job Description

Aerotek is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of tasks including housekeeping, lubrication, lifting, and operating equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, and experience with preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain various types of industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatic systems, motors, photo eye sensors, etc.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical (480V), and electronic issues throughout assigned area.
  • Utilize knowledge of 3 phase motors, gearboxes, VFD's, proximity switches, sensors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, etc. to make repairs.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures to ensure safe working environment.

Essential Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, and work with heights.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with preventative maintenance.
  • Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and repair.
  • Experience with industrial maintenance, including 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, PLC troubleshooting and control, conveyer systems, motors, and installation.

Work Environment

This position involves working in a manufacturing environment with various equipment and technologies. The role requires physical activity including lifting, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces and at heights. The dress code is casual and safety-focused, with appropriate personal protective equipment provided.
