Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Benefits Manager to join our Retail team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage and oversee the comprehensive benefits programs for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the company's benefits programs. This includes health and wellness benefits, retirement plans, and other employee perks. The Benefits Manager will also ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, manage vendor relationships, and communicate effectively with employees about their benefits.

Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and manage comprehensive benefits programs, including health and wellness, retirement, and other employee perks.
2. Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to benefits programs.
3. Manage relationships with benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants to ensure high-quality services and cost-effective rates.
4. Communicate effectively with employees about their benefits, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly.
5. Collaborate with HR and other departments to integrate benefits programs into overall employee strategy.
6. Conduct regular reporting and analysis on benefits programs performance, utilization, and costs. Make recommendations for improvements based on data.
7. Stay updated on trends and developments in benefits and propose innovative and cost-effective ways to improve our benefits offerings.
8. Lead benefits training and education sessions for employees.
9. Handle the administration of leave programs, including FMLA, disability, and workers' compensation.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in a retail setting.
3. In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding benefits, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and ACA.
4. Strong vendor management skills, with a proven track record of negotiating cost-effective benefits contracts.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex benefits information in a clear and understandable way.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze benefits utilization data and make recommendations for improvements.
7. Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software.
8. Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) certification is preferred.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
10. Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to our employees.
11. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
