The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly and indirectly with internal and external contacts to remove barriers preventing payment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle both internal and external collection calls or correspondence
• Establish and maintain rapport with customers to effectively manage assigned portfolio
• Ensure the reduction of delinquency on assigned accounts
• Take full responsibility for assigned accounts, ensuring issues are seen through to resolution
• Cooperate with Sales and escalate to Management as necessary
• Manage invoicing, including specialty customer invoicing and consolidated invoices, as required
• Accurately process deposits (cash, check, wire, ACH)
• Record deposits by posting cash journals
• Facilitate discussions to resolve issues as necessary
• Maintain timely and effective communication with Sales to ensure resolution of issues
• Submit formal disputes on invoices where payment is not forthcoming due to an internal issue.

Skills required include Accounts Receivable (AR), Answering Inbound Calls, Billing Functions, Collection Processes, and B2B collections. The role requires multitasking in a high-volume environment and demands close visual acuity for data preparation, transcribing, viewing computer terminal, and extensive reading.• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and customer service
• Experience with billing functions and processes
• Knowledge and understanding of collection processes
• Familiarity with B2B collections
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using standard office software and tools
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
