Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in COVINGTON, Kentucky. In this role, you will be working closely with the HR team, managing various HR functions ranging from recruitment to employee relations. Your primary focus will be on streamlining HR processes and updating compliance, as well as transitioning to paperless operations in ADP.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the HR team in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
• Overseeing the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation and ensuring all paperwork is completed.
• Facilitating training sessions and seminars for new hires.
• Maintaining, updating, and verifying employee records, contracts, benefits, and performance evaluations while ensuring confidentiality.
• Managing employee attendance and leave records.
• Assisting in the preparation and processing of payroll.
• Administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
• Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Conducting regular audits to ensure HR practices align with company policies and legal requirements.
• Providing support to employees on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution and performance management.
• Assisting in organizing and coordinating employee engagement activities and events.
• Preparing and analyzing HR metrics and reports, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction surveys.
• Utilizing HRIS and AI algorithms in various HR functions.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Demonstrable experience with Benefit Functions
• Knowledge of HR Compliance policies and procedures
• Proven skills in Employee Relations management
• Proficiency in using HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems
• Familiarity with AI algorithms and their application in HR processes
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
