Sunbelt is hiring a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary-aged students at a single school site near Chester, CT. This full-time role requires working with a mild to moderate caseload and is ideal for an SLP with experience in behavior management and alternative curricula. The SLP will play a key role in helping students with social-emotional behavioral challenges improve their communication skills and academic performance.

Responsibilities and Details:
  • Conduct assessments and provide individualized therapy for students with communication needs.
  • Implement behavior management strategies and alternative curricula as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Current school year. Hiring quickly.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • One school site.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Certification: State of Connecticut Certification (061)
  • Experience: Previous experience with elementary school-aged students is required; background in behavior management and social-emotional behavioral challenges is preferred.
