Exciting Opportunity for a School-Based Speech Pathologist in Chester, VA

Soliant Health is proud to collaborate with an esteemed school district situated in the Chester area. We are actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team and provide invaluable speech therapy services for the current school year.

Position Details:

  • School Year 2023-24
  • Full or Part-Time Position
  • Caseload: K-12 (further details to be discussed during the interview)
  • On-Site Position

Key Responsibilities: In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine the specific speech and language needs of students.
  • Develop and execute individualized speech therapy plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address students' unique communication challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and fellow professionals to enhance students' academic and social success.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment, whether in person or online.

Requirements: To qualify for this opportunity, you should possess:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  • Previous experience as an SLP within a school-based or pediatric setting.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
