Job Description

We are seeking six skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team across various shifts. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform reactive and preventative maintenance tasks on ovens, conveyors, packaging equipment, and icing machines within a large, dynamic bakery environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on ovens, conveyors, packaging equipment, and icing machines.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including PLC troubleshooting.
  • Work with 480v electrical systems.
  • Maintain and repair conveyors and related equipment.
Essential Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic.
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience in conveyor maintenance.
  • PLC troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in food manufacturing and working in hot temperatures is a plus.
  • Ammonia and steam boiler experience is highly desirable.
  • Open to candidates with mechanical backgrounds from farming or aircraft maintenance.

Work Environment

Work in a bakery that produces danishes and cinnamon rolls. The plant environment can be warm, with temperatures approximately 15 degrees hotter in the summer due to the ovens. Flour and sugar are present throughout the facility. Employees work six days a week with a rotating day off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00
