Job Description

The Utility person will drive a P.I.T. equipped with lifting devices such as a boom or drum grabber to move materials (e.g. work-in-process metal coils, drums, totes, pallets).

Pay Rate

$17-21/hr.

Hard Skills

• Operating P.I.T. equipment with lifting devices
• Making cuts of the strip and visually checking the appearance at the Rewind
• Monitoring Safety PPE, housekeeping, and lifting up to 50lbs
• Preparing and mixing paint drums, cleaning pans
• Removing coated coils from the coil cart for weighing
• Assisting Coater Technicians with paint changes
• Entering data into the computer system

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Avenel, New Jersey.

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing facility, it is not climate controlled so in the winter it's cold and in the summer it is hot.
