Exciting Opportunity for Mechanic Technicians Join the Night Shift Team with PDS Tech

Are you ready to take your mechanical skills to the next level? Join the team as a Mechanic Technician, where you'll partner with experienced site mechanics to maintain and repair crucial food production equipment. This fast-paced role requires urgency, teamwork, and attention to detail to keep operations running smoothly.

  • Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts, 2-2-3 Schedule (Night Shift)

  • Pay Rate: 36.55/HR.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside lead mechanics on large, complex equipment jobs.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose a wide range of machinery issues.

  • Inspect machinery and perform preventative maintenance to avoid downtime.

  • Maintain auxiliary areas of production, including wastewater operations.

  • Utilize tools like hydraulic presses, drill presses, pipe threaders, and other hand tools.

  • Assist with the repair and maintenance of powered industrial trucks (Crown lifts) and HVAC systems.

  • Follow all safety protocols, including PPE, Food Safety GMPs, and facility rules.

What You Need to Succeed:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED Required

  • Experience: 3+ years as a mechanic, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

  • Skills: Mechanical and electrical knowledge, including pumps, motors, pneumatics, VFDs, and 480VAC wiring.

  • Physical Ability: Capable of lifting, climbing, bending, and handling products in extreme conditions (temperature, humidity, loud equipment).

  • Flexibility: Willing to work weekends, holidays, and off-shift hours.

  • Drug Test & Background Screenings: Required

Pay Details: 36.55 per hour
