Job TitleFleet Mechanic Technician

A Fleet Mechanic Technician is needed for a large school district in the Denver Metro area. The ideal candidate will repair all district vehicles and equipment.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Performing preventative maintenance on district vehicles
  • Diagnosing and repairing issues related to vehicle subsystems
  • Maintaining diesel-related engine and component parts
  • Responding to road calls as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in automotive or diesel repair
  • Vocational school or equivalent experience accepted as partial credit
  • High School degree or GED with preference for Automotive Gas and Diesel engine school
  • ASE and CDL certification preferred; obtain CDL within 4 months if not currently licensed

Compensation and Benefits

  • An estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
