Job DescriptionJob DescriptionA skilled maintenance technician is responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks in residential, commercial, or institutional settings. This role requires proficiency in various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general handyman services. The Handyman must possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and assessments of properties to identify maintenance and repair needs.
Perform a variety of skilled tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general repairs.
Install and repair fixtures, appliances, doors, windows, cabinets, and other components as required.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with plumbing systems, such as leaks, clogs, and pipe repairs.
Conduct electrical repairs and installations, including replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
Repair and maintain various types of flooring, walls, and ceilings.
Paint interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring proper preparation and finishing.
Handle routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, and lubricating equipment.
Respond to service requests promptly and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and invoices.
Collaborate with clients, property managers, or contractors to coordinate repairs, renovations, or remodeling projects.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
