The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders. This role requires strong attention to detail, data entry skills, and a customer-focused approach. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of our client’s team. This is a Contract assignment located near Oakbrook, IL.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter customer orders into the order management system.
  • Verify order information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process orders according to established procedures and timelines.
  • Communicate order status updates to customers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of all order information.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all systems.
  • Perform data entry tasks with speed and accuracy.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping, and other order-related issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service by resolving customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory adjustments as needed.
  • Identify and resolve potential inventory issues.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, shipping, customer service) regarding order status and any potential issues.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and report generation.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in order entry, data entry, or a related field.
  • Strong data entry and typing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Experience with order management systems (preferred).
  Job Details:
  • Contract
  • Monday- Friday, first shift
  • Pay is $22-26 an hour, depending on experience

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
