Job Description

The Digital Print Operator will maintain and operate printers, primarily in our Dye-Sub printing department. Responsibilities include daily maintenance of printers, setting up and operating printers and transfer machines, verifying substrates as outlined in job packets, maintaining material inventory, ensuring a clean working environment, and practicing safe working habits. Operators will also secure help for lifting or carrying items exceeding weight limits and make recommendations to management for improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, or any other matters impacting shop cost or employee health. You will operate the 10-foot EFI Fabrivu 340i plus digital dye sub printer, a 5-foot Mimaki printer, and two transfer machines.

Hard Skills
  • 6+ months digital print press operation experience OR 2+ years automated/CNC type machine setup and operation experience
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn digital graphics quickly
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to perform measurements
  • Ability to lift 60+ lbs as needed, bend, twist, and stand all shift as needed

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Smaller company with a family feel. The large, open shop area is in a brand-new, clean, organized, and temperature-controlled building. The environment is casual, well-lit, odor-free, and climate-controlled. First shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday & 9am-5:30pm Monday-Friday – two openings available, one for each shift.
