Receiving Clerk

We are seeking a dedicated Receiving Clerk to join our high-volume warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving all materials and efficiently allocating products within the warehouse. This role involves inbound receiving, order picking, and packaging of materials, as well as data entry and inventory control using Oracle ERP and RF scanners.
Responsibilities- Receive all incoming materials and allocate products within the warehouse.
- Operate PIT equipment including forklifts, order pickers (cherry pickers), and electric pallet jacks.
- Use RF terminals to maneuver through menus and complete transactions.
- Manage inventory control by understanding warehouse layouts, storage, picking processes, and cycle counting.
- Perform order picking and packaging of materials.
- Enter data for material allocation and product moves into the company database (Oracle).
- Conduct inventory control through cycle counting and accurate data entry.
- Scan parts with an RF scanner throughout the day.
- Hand package and label products.
- Use hand tools and power tools to crate finished products.
- Enter data for rejected or flawed parts into the company database.
- Walk and lift products up to 70lbs at a fast pace throughout the day.
- 1+ years of recent experience in a high-volume warehouse environment with order picking and packaging.
- Proficiency with RF scanners.
- Experience with Oracle ERP.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
- Experience with power screwdrivers for creating wood crates.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Work EnvironmentWork in a clean warehouse environment where you will be using advanced equipment and technology such as forklifts, order pickers, electric pallet jacks, RF scanners, and Oracle ERP systems. The role involves physical activity, including walking and lifting products up to 70lbs at a fast pace.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, Minnesota.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
