Job DescriptionJob DescriptionA reputable company in Santa Barbara, CA is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing accounting teams. Room to grow & become an Assistant Controller after 2 years

Pay: $80K-$100K per year + benefits
Location: On-site in Santa Barbara, CA
Duration: Temporary-to-Hire

Job Duties:
-Oversee, train, and assess 3 Staff Accountants and 4 Account Payable clerks, including daily management tasks.
-Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis acquired through related work experience in increasingly complex roles
-Experience and skilled in balance sheets, profit and loss reconciliation, reviewing staff accounts work.
-Ability to review business license, property tax and sales tax returns
-Skilled at preparing a daily cash report for company CEO and CFO
-Prepare monthly board reports, audit schedules, and annual financial statements, covering all key financial documentation.
-Review vendor statements, process invoices, and credit memos, including those for EDI vendors.

Qualifications:
-Management experience leading an accounting team 3-5 years experience
-Working supervisor with the ability to train and assess daily team tasks
-Accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis acquired
-Must be Advanced or Expert in Excel
-Skilled in learning new programs, software or apps
