We are seeking a Global Payroll Director to join our team on a 100% remote basis. In this role, you will oversee our global payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing for our employees. Working closely with stakeholders across our IT Software firm, you will be instrumental in setting strategic direction, assessing partnerships, and driving operational efficiency. Responsibilities:


• Lead the global payroll team, overseeing operations in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.

• Manage relationships with global payroll service providers, ensuring effectiveness and assessing the need for change when necessary.

• Collaborate proactively with stakeholders such as Compensation, Benefits, Stock Administration, IT, Finance, Tax, Legal, and third-party service providers to ensure compliant practices.

• Coordinate with the Stock Administration team to manage stock-based compensation processing in payroll, ensuring payroll tax compliance.

• Develop and implement payroll procedures and controls to streamline preparation, documentation, and disbursement of payroll-related payments.

• Oversee payroll audits and monitor internal controls related to payroll to comply with SOX and other country-specific legal requirements.

• Partner with internal and external tax consultants to stay updated on new legislation and regulatory rulings impacting payroll.

• Drive the implementation of new approaches and automation, policies and procedures that enhance the efficiency of services performed.

• Provide regular payroll-related operational and financial metrics and insights to leadership.

• Assist with internal and external audit requirements to ensure compliance.

• Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the IT Software industry
• Demonstrated proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now
• Proven track record of managing and directing global payroll operations
• Strong understanding of global payroll taxes, compliance, and regulations
• Experience in managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to create and manage payroll budgets and forecasts
• Exceptional leadership qualities with experience in managing a diverse team
• Advanced knowledge of payroll systems and software
• Must have a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
