Join the PDS Tech Team as a Pipe Fabrication Machine Operator

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of pipe fabrication? We're looking for a motivated individual to help keep the shop humming

  • Assignment Type: Fulltime; Temp to Direct Hire

  • Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (30 min unpaid lunch)

  • Pay Rate: 19.00 per hour based on experience, paid weekly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication in the shop.

  • Accurately measure, record, and adjust random pipe lengths.

  • Use band saws, torches, and Landis machines to cut, roll, groove, thread, and bevel pipe.

  • Move loose or bundled pipes within the yard and prepare them for storage or transportation.

  • Assemble pipe orders in both single sticks and bundles, maintaining an organized workspace.

  • Follow vital safety protocols for fabricating, cutting, assembling, and shipping pipes.

  • Operate powered industrial equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations and Ferguson safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (must be listed on your resume).

  • Successful completion of a Forklift Assessment.

  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay Details: 19.00 per hour
