We are seeking a Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to shape impactful messaging strategies and drive engagement across multiple platforms.
Position Overview
As a Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in crafting, managing, and delivering internal and external communications that align with Agile Group's mission and values. You will work closely with team leads, clients, and stakeholders to ensure consistent, compelling messaging and support a variety of projects, including federal contracts, corporate initiatives, and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communication strategies tailored to specific audiences, including employees, clients, and partners.
- Create, edit, and distribute content for newsletters, press releases, reports, and social media platforms.
- Manage Agile Group's external branding and messaging to ensure consistency across all channels.
- Support internal communications, including announcements, team updates, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align communication deliverables with project goals.
- Analyze communication effectiveness through metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends to incorporate best practices into communication strategies.
Preferred Software Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with SharePoint for collaboration and content management.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, for graphic design and visual content creation.
- Familiarity with communication and social media tools, such as Canva, Hootsuite, and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a communications role, preferably within government contracting, professional services, or a related industry.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment.
