Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Purpose/SummaryFastwyre Broadband is seeking a motivated and dynamic Account Executive – MDU Sales to join our growing team. In this role, you will drive sales growth by developing relationships with property owners, managers, and developers of multi-dwelling units (MDUs) to deliver Fastwyre’s state-of-the-art broadband services. You’ll play a key role in expanding our market presence while providing customized solutions to meet the connectivity needs of MDU communities.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sales and Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with MDU property owners, developers, and property managers.
  • Identify opportunities to market Fastwyre’s services to new and existing MDU communities.
  • Negotiate agreements, including bulk service arrangements and property access agreements.
  • Market Development:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential MDU customers and build a pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Attend and represent Fastwyre at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and drive leads.
  • Customized Solutions:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored broadband solutions that address the unique needs of MDU customers.
  • Work closely with finance, engineering and construction teams to ensure seamless project implementation and service activation.
  • Sales Targets and Reporting:
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and account updates to management.
  • Customer Experience:
  • Act as the main point of contact for MDU clients, ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
  • Address client concerns promptly and coordinate with internal departments for resolution.
Knowledge, Abilities, & Skills for Success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, with a preference for telecommunications, broadband, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of the MDU industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into value propositions for customers.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications

At a minimum, the MDU Account Executive must have a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or equivalent field of study, along with 5+ years of experience in the Telecom and/or Cable industry in addition to experience with multi-dwelling units (MDUs), along with proven results in, exceeding organizational sales objectives, and the ability to demonstrate expertise in leading successful sales organizations in technology businesses, and a valid driver’s license.
