We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Non-Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Location: District Photo (Beltsville, MD)

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour


Shift Details:


12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.


Job Overview


Responsibilities:

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other people to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.

  • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence.
  • Respond to alarms and calls of distress to protect property and personnel.
  • Monitor and operate security cameras and other surveillance systems.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Warn people of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
  • Utilize de-escalation skills to manage conflicts and ensure a peaceful environment.
