We are searching for a meticulous and professional temporary Receptionist to help our team in Richardson, Texas. As a Receptionist, you will undertake a range of reception and administrative tasks, including greeting guests, directing visitors, answering phone calls, and maintaining the reception area. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and is integral to ensuring an efficient and smooth-running office environment.


Responsibilities


• Welcome guests upon their arrival at the office and direct them to the appropriate person and office

• Handle incoming phone calls, screen and forward them as necessary

• Keep the reception area tidy and well-stocked with necessary stationery and material, such as pens, forms, and brochures

• Provide accurate information to visitors in-person and via phone/email

• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner

• Uphold office security by adhering to safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk

• Manage front office supplies and maintain inventory records

• Keep calendars updated and assist in scheduling meetings when required

• Organize travel and accommodations, and prepare necessary vouchers

• Maintain updated records of office expenses and costs

• Perform other administrative duties as required, including filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing

• Possess relevant experience in Receptionist Duties.
• Excellent skills in Customer Service.
• Proficient in using office equipment including printers, fax machines, photocopiers, and scanners.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times.
