This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing essential behavioral support and guidance in a collaborative educational setting.
Position Overview:
- Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Location: Near Moody, AL
- Employment Type: Full-Time, School Year Contract
- Caseload: Elementary, Middle, or High School students (Caseload specifics will be provided during the interview)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
- Provide direct support to students and collaborate with teachers and staff to implement behavior intervention strategies
- Train and support school staff and families in effective behavior management techniques
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to create an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)
- Alabama licensure or certification as a BCBA (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in a school or educational setting is preferred, but new graduates are wele to apply
- Strong analytical, munication, and collaboration skills
